During this time, Mrs. Sims completely redesigned the magazine website, transitioning it to a flexible, responsive design that is user-friendly across a variety of digital platforms. Mrs. Sims also redesigned the digital infrastructure of the print and digital magazines and introduced dynamic multimedia products to the magazine’s social media presence that increased consumer engagement. Mrs. Sims’ exceptional performance, professionalism, and dedication to duty reflect great credit upon her, the Army Logistics University, the Combined Arms Support Command, and the US Army.

In 2019, Brandy Sims was honored as a winner in the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) Communications Award Program for her work with the Salt Lake City VA, earning recognition for The Wahlen magazine and her contributions to outreach and marketing through the Upholding Valor campaign. Additionally, she secured 2nd place for her work on the Women Veterans Marketing Campaign, demonstrating her commitment to creating engaging, impactful content that strengthens Veteran storytelling and community engagement within the VHA.
That same year, her work was also recognized through the Charleston VAMC, where her projects won 1st place for the Annual Report Video and 2nd place for the Cancel Appointment Video in the VHA Communications Award Program. These achievements reflect her dedication to producing high-quality multimedia content that enhances communication, outreach, and engagement for Veterans nationwide.
